CHEESEBURN SCULPTURE | 10 OCTOBER | 11am – 4pm
After welcoming over 2,000 visitors in 2015, Cheeseburn Sculpture gardens and gallery in Stamfordham, will open for the last time this year on Saturday 10 October.
Visitors are invited to take an autumnal tour around the landscaped gardens and explore some of the thirty contemporary sculptures situated around the grounds.
This weekend those who visit Cheeseburn can expect to see an ongoing exhibition of charcoal drawings by North East artist Colin Rose in the Stables Gallery as well as work by Northumberland-based contemporary artist Andrea Roberts, who graduated from Newcastle University with a Masters in Fine Art in 2006 and has since exhibited widely.
A self-guided tour of the sculpture gardens and gallery should take around an hour, and is entirely free of charge, though donations are encouraged.
Home-cooking and refreshments will be available to purchase.
