Drawing Together at Bellingham Middle School

Drawing Together at Bellingham Middle School 4

In November, Sam Douglas spent a day with pupils from Bellingham Middle School together with their parents, carers and grandparents to create large scale landscapes using pastels. Flora and fauna of the rural location was the source of inspiration. Children commented that ‘colourful pastels helped to show the beauty of the landscape’ and ‘working with Sam was an amazing opportunity.’ One of the parents said, ‘My boys had an amazing time! Thank you for giving them the opportunity to work together to create such a beautiful masterpiece. I came along in the afternoon and it was a real pleasure to see what they had done, and to spend some time drawing alongside my kids.’
