Funding from SCREAM has enabled a new project with Pathways4All . This is a parent led charity that provides
Pathways4All provides leisure and social opportunities for children with disabilities & additional needs and their families. Pathways4All has its own specialist play and recreational base, the Tim Lamb Centre at Rising Sun Country Park in North Tyneside.
In June 2018 artist Helen Pailing started leading after school creative sessions with families there to make a sensory interactive panel for the Centre’s main corridor. Made from re-used waste materials the panel will have an underwater theme.
In August a group of staff and fifteen teenagers from Pathways4All’s teenage holiday club came up to Highgreen to make art and enjoy the surroundings. They made coloured panels with Helen Pailing and mobiles with Khosro Adibi. Pizzas were enjoyed as part of pic-nic lunches, cooked in our outdoor oven with help from William Morrison-Bell and Emma Ross.
We look forward to working with Pathways4All again in the future.
