Byrness residents and members of St Francis church, Byrness have completed a textile panel featuring St Francis with native birds and wildlife and residents’ pet animals. The panel was finished in time for display as an altar frontal in the church at St Francis tide last month. When not in the church the panel will be displayed in the village hall. The project was led by artist Sue Moorhouse who lives in Byrness and funded by VARC.
