Work in Progress Open Studios: Catriona Gallagher & Shane Finan

Work in Progress Open Studios: Catriona Gallagher & Shane Finan 1

**UPDATE** We have released an additional 6 tickets for each time slot. To operate safely, visitors will be split into two groups, one for each studio, so that no more than 6 visitors will be in one studio at any given time.

We are pleased to welcome a limited number of visitors in person to this Work in Progress Open Studios event at Highgreen on Saturday 24th April 2021. The open studios will feature works in progress by Catriona Gallagher, artist in residence at Highgreen since July 2020, and Shane Finan, artist in residence during April 2021 with Northumberland Wildlife Trust’s Kielderhead Wildwood project.

The event is free to attend, but it is essential that you book one of the available time slots for your visit, using the Eventbrite online booking system, or by contacting lorna@varc.org.uk who will be able to book a time on your behalf. The timings to choose from are as follows: 10.30 – 11.30, 11.30 – 12.30, 13.30 – 14.30, 14.30 – 15.30, 15.30 – 16.30, 16.30 – 17.30.

Visitors will be able to view a selection of the artists’ current work on display at Highgreen and will also have the chance to meet and discuss the works with the artists.

To ensure compliance with current lockdown restrictions and to maintain safe social distancing, attendance will be limited to six visitors at each time slot. Please wear a face mask during your visit unless you are exempt, and understand that we will not be able to admit you outside of your booked time unless places are still available for a different time slot. Contact lorna@varc.org.uk for assistance and more information.

Catriona Gallagher and Shane Finan are part of the ENTWINED: Rural. Land. Lives. Art programme. Work shown as part of the Work in Progress Open Studios day will be documented and hosted online for those unable to attend. The ENTWINED programme will also culminate in an exhibition in September 2021.
